For BRCGS auditors and technical managers

Audit evidence that is complete, current and easy to follow

Auditors need to see that training, procedures and daily checks are controlled, not just that paperwork exists. Tete keeps that evidence in one system with a full history, so a site can answer questions on the day rather than searching for files.

Training and competence

Each colleague's training record shows what they hold, when it expires and who confirmed their competence. Gaps against role requirements are visible by site.

  • Competency sign-off by a trained assessor, with supporting evidence
  • Renewal reminders before training lapses
  • Training history kept for leavers

Document control

Procedures and work instructions carry an issue number, named approvers, approval dates and a change summary. Only the current version is published, and colleagues acknowledge new versions.

  • Two-person approval with different approvers
  • Full version history for every controlled document
  • Proof of who read and acknowledged each issue

Records and traceability

Shift routine cards, digital forms and photographs are stored against the shift, site and person, with the time of completion and the manager's sign-off.

  • Tamper-evident audit trail where each entry is linked to the one before
  • Records retained for seven years by default, adjustable per organisation
  • Exportable audit packs for a site or period

Corrective action and culture

Audit findings are logged with a reference, an owner and a due date, and can trigger retraining for the affected roles. A Behaviour score shows whether daily routines are signed off on time, giving measurable evidence for a food safety and quality culture plan.

Tete records and presents evidence. It does not certify a site: certification decisions remain with your certification body and the current BRCGS Standard.
